Prerequisites

  • Solid Edge must be in the Profile mode. Profile mode is automatically activated when creating a sketch feature or creating a profile for a feature.

Process: Creating an Circle By Three Points

1. clip_image005[1]  Click Circle by 3 Points on the Circle fly-out on the Draw toolbar. clip_image001[1]clip_image012

2. Pick the first point of the circle in the Graphics window. A dashed line displays connecting the point to the cursor.

3. Pick the second point in the Graphics window. A circle displays between the two points.

4. Pick the third point in the Graphics window to define the diameter and create the circle.

Process: Creating an Circle By center and endpoints

2. Pick the center point in the Graphics window. The circle displays attached to the point and the cursor.
